Overview
It is possible to add an antenna to your iPod 5–7th Gen MKII Electronics PCB. If you need more range, first try using an LCD screen without a metal back. Some LCD screens have a plastic back, others have a metal back.
If you do try using this antenna, this snaps onto you Bluetooth board. You must cut the traces from the Bluetooth board which will disable the onboard antenna and there is a circular fitting on the board that this antenna snaps onto.
